Adult French classes will resume online through Zoom for a 14 week session. Now is your chance to learn French with the Alliance Française de San Antonio!

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How long does the session run?

A: This session takes place during a 14 week period, to begin on September 10th and continue through December 17th.

Q: Are classes recorded?

A: No. Attendance is required for each student.

Q: Which levels do you offer?

A: This session we will be teaching beginner to advanced levels.

Q: Do you get a certificate at the end of the session?

A: No. Students will not take tests or exams.

Q: I’m not sure which level is right for me. Which class do I sign up for?

A: It’s ok, we can help! Contact Julie Jacobs, our coordinator, for a language assessment to place you in the appropriate level. You can get in touch with Julie at classes@afsanantonio.org

Q: How many students are in each class?

A: Class size will be roughly 10 to 12 students. This is to ensure students have the right online environment to participate and to practice speaking.

Q: What is the start time for class?

A: Classes will begin at 6pm on Thursdays directly on Zoom.

Q: Is the location the same as in previous sessions?

A: No, we wish to maintain social distancing to protect students and teachers during this time. All adult French classes will take place online through Zoom.

Q: Will we meet on Thanksgiving?

A: No, we wish for our students and teachers to enjoy that Thursday. Class will resume the following week.
