A: This session we will offer classes for beginner and intermediate level students in A1, A2, B1, B2. If you’re unsure of your level, contact our coordinator for a placement exam.
Q: This is my first time studying French – do I need to take the placement exam?

A: Since students do not take tests or exams in our classes, we do not issue a certificate.
Q: I’m not sure which level is right for me. Which class do I sign up for?
A: It’s ok, we can help! Contact Katherine Marquette, our coordinator, for a language assessment to place you in the appropriate level. You can get in touch with Katherine at classes@afsanantonio.org
Q: How many students are in each class?
A: Class size will be roughly 10 to 12 students. This is to ensure students have the right online environment to participate and to practice speaking.
Q: I’m a returning student and really liked my teacher from a previous session. Can I continue taking class with the same teacher?
A: Returning students may have the choice to continue with the same instructor, depending on the levels offered and the availability of our teachers for the current session. We will try our best to accommodate your preferences.
Q: Is the location the same as in previous sessions?
A: We are not offering in-person classes at this time, as we wish to maintain social distancing to protect students and teachers. All classes will take place online through Zoom.
