Bastille Day Celebration in San Antonio

Bastille Day is celebrated every July 14th or “le quatorze juillet” across the French-speaking world to commemorate the beginning of the French Revolution in 1789.

Here in San Antonio, Bastille Day is a gathering of the Alamo City’s French community and their allies.

The Alliance Française de San Antonio is hosting a Bastille Day celebration at the Grill in Leon Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 14.

It will be an evening of French food by Chef Thierry Burkle, live music by renown accordionist Terry Cavanah and fun.
